The finalists for the Frankfurt Founder’s Prize 2019 have been selected
Jury selects five founders for the final of the competitio
On Tuesday evening Markus Frank, Head of the Department of Economic Affairs, announced this year’s finalists of the Frankfurt Founders Prize. This year’s jury has selected five finalists from a total of 25 submissions from young companies. The five finalists are Bornheimer Ratskeller, Cansativa GmbH, Die Kooperative eG, Otto ID Solutions und right.based on science UG.
“The Frankfurt Business Founder Award has a particularly high status in the matrix of our Frankfurt business landscape. Those who were awarded the Frankfurt Founder’s Prize acquired a seal of quality. This time it was possible to observe that B2B and IT/Software sectors have grown strongly”, says Markus Frank.
The Frankfurt Founder Prize is an initiative of the City of Frankfurt, the Frankfurt Economic Development Agency and the Frankfurt University of Applied Sciences. Since 2001, the prize has been awarded annually to outstanding founders from the Frankfurt city area. In addition to members of the City Council, the jury also includes founding and technical experts as well as former prize winners. The competition is organized by the Wirtschaftsförderung Frankfurt.
The winner of the renowned Founders’ Prize will be announced at the award ceremony on 13 May 2019 in the Kaisersaal of the Römer.
