Cansativa recognized as “Startup Of The Month”
Frankfurt Forward, a project of Wirtschaftsförderung Frankfurt GmbH, awarded Cansativa GmbH the “Startup Of The Month” for April 2020.
Last Thursday, Frankfurt Forward announced the winner of the “Startup Of The Month” award. Several startups pitched for the award in front of a jury made up of members of the Frankfurt Economic Development Agency (Wirtschaftsförderung) and Frankfurt Forward. The winner has the opportunity to network with established companies and investors and automatically qualifies for the election of the “Startup Of The Year” award.
The two brothers and founders Jakob and Benedikt Sons convinced the jury of their company specializing in medical cannabis. Founded in 2017, Cansativa GmbH is an independent wholesaler, one-stop shop and central point of contact for pharmacies when cannabis-based medicinal prodcuts are needed. The company with its two sites in Frankfurt am Main and Mörfelden-Walldorf sees medical cannabis as platform and connects relevant stakeholders in the medical cannabis industry. Cansativa’s goal is to professionalize the entire industry, improve product availability, reduce costs sustainably and ensure therapy options.
